Job Summary
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of all Rockland County Bar Association (RCBA) and The Foundation of the Rockland County Bar Association, Inc. (Foundation) programs and operations.

Duties

• Reports to both Boards of Directors and handles all Board business.
• Maintains and tracks all organization finances, bank records and investments.
• Coordinates fundraising efforts and searches out fundraising opportunities.
• Manages Association membership and develops ways to increase membership.
• Oversees Association committees.
• Coordinates events planning, including large-scale Annual Dinner Gala.
• Manages the Lawyer Referral Service (LRS).
• Coordinates closely with the Assigned Counsel Administrator.
• Represents the organization at public events, meetings, and conferences.
• Supervises office Staff.

• Experience as an organization leader.
• Experience as a manager of operations.
• Experience as a supervisor of staff.
• Familiarity with database management.
• Knowledge of strategic planning to drive organizational success.
• Ability to multi-task small tasks and perform more complex problem solving.
• Business development acumen to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
• Non-profit experience helpful.
• Knowledge of courts and legal system helpful.
• Ingenuity, creativity and flexibility a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
