ADULT BASIC SKILLS INSTRUCTOR
Faculty Full-Time
 

The position of Adult Basic Skills Instructor is Open Until Filled to create a qualified instructor pool. This position has 174 contractual days, including 6 paid holidays.

As the Full-Time Faculty: Adult Basic Skills Instructor, you will be part of the team teaching Adult Basic Skills at the Woolley Center. The position will primarily teach GED subjects, but may also teach digital literacy, study skills, and other subjects as needed. This position also works closely with other faculty and the Woolley Center staff to support students.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, History, Science, or related field
  • One year experience in an instructional setting such as teaching or tutoring
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Previous Adult Basic Skills experience
