Position Summary 
Reporting to the Dean of the Graduate School for Religion and Religious 
Education (GRE), the Admissions and Academic Services Coordinator is the 
central point of contact for the GRE Dean’s Office and is essential in expediting 
admissions and academic operations. 
 
Essential Functions 
Assists with recruitment and admissions: processes applications using 
Slate; provides prospective students and applicants with academic 
information; and troubleshoots issues related to the application process. 
Assists with information sessions, open houses, and other admissions-
related events. 
Coordinates academic events such as new student orientation, academic 
workshops, open houses, information sessions, diploma ceremony, and 
January winter session.
Coordinates room reservations, food catering, and seating assignments 
for meetings and events. 
Manages all phone lines and general email correspondence. 
Assists the Office of the Assistant Dean as needed. 
 
Essential Functions Note

The University may assign additional related duties as necessary. 
 
Additional Functions 
Serves as liaison with various groups involved in event planning (e.g., 
campus space coordinators): 25 Live Reservation platform, food services, 
outside caterers, facilities, and custodial services). 
Assists with the collection of faculty syllabi and other correspondence, 
works with the Assistant Dean on GRE social media platforms, engaging 
students and alumni. 
 
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience 
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in higher education 
 
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills 
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google mail and related Google 
apps 
Programs such as Slate, 25 Live, and Zoom 
Excellent communication skills. 
A team player with strong interpersonal skills 
Mandatory Competency Testing 
Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to 
the goals of Jesuit Education.

Bachelor’s degree 
 
Minimum Biweekly Salary for All Others: $2,051.06
