Clemson University’s Department of Public Health Science invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship. For this position, we seek an enthusiastic, collaborative researcher with training in a variety of Public Health disciplines to work on funded research projects.
Duties and responsibilities: The postdoctoral fellow will perform a wide array of functions from overseeing data collection efforts and day-to-day database management to contributing to the dissemination of research findings in manuscripts and conference presentations.
Supervision
The Postdoctoral Fellow’s main appointment will be within the Department of Public Health Sciences. Dr. Jenkins will serve as the primary advisor. The appointment is funded for 1 year. Salary is highly competitive with a competitive benefits package and negotiable start date.
Qualifications
- A PhD in health science, or related fields
- Experience leading publications
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and push forward a program of research
- Experience in research on healthcare access
- Expertise in ArcGIS
