Job Description: HR Intern Volunteer

Organization: Commission on Culture and Society (COCAS), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a more inclusive and harmonious society by valuing and celebrating diverse cultures.

Position: HR Intern Volunteer

Location: Remote/Work from Home

Duration: Flexible, 3-6 months commitment preferred

Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week

Description:
The HR Intern Volunteer will support the HR department in various administrative and project-based tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in human resources within the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new volunteers, including completing paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Maintain and update HR records and databases.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating training sessions and workshops.
  • Help develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Support HR team in other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in non-profit work and promoting diversity and inclusion.
