Overview

Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous

equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements.

Major Position Responsibilities
    Supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts.
  • Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets.
  • Resolves production problems and answers workers' questions about processes, methods, or equipment.
  • Delivers training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees.
  • Conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications.
  • Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
Basic Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/or Experience

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Pay Range (USD)
$66,605 - $123,695

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.
Additional Compensation
Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
