The McKenna Center seeks to understand the critical role of global business in reducing poverty and inequality. Summer Fellows will work with the McKenna Center’s projects dealing with poverty and entrepreneurship. This particular initiative will be tied to the 2026 World Cup to be held in North America. The individuals in this role will be responsible for projects related to the Urban Poverty and Business Intiative.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include:
- Researching ecosystem in each of the 13 new locations and help identify potential new partners for expansion.
- Assisting in marketing the UPBI initiative to local stakeholders in each city.
- Assisting with preparations of logistics, including venue selection, participant coordination, and materials preparation.
- Assist with general administrative support for Center leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and logistical planning.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned based on the priorities of the Center throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications
- Any Notre Dame students with GPA over 3.2 would be eligible
- All majors and colleges
- Individual should have a concern for addressing poverty issues, be a strong writer, detail-oriented, and have basic technical skills with Word and Excel.
- Must be self-starter.
