This position will remain open until filled.
Involves third-party reimbursement reporting requirements and contractual allowances monitoring. Includes the provision of annual Medicare, Medi-Cal, and state disclosure cost reports, monitors reimbursement regulation changes and estimates the effect on the medical center's financial position.
Recognized organization-wide expert. Has significant impact and influence on organizational policy and program development. Regularly leads projects of critical importance to the organization; these projects carry substantial consequences of success or failure. Directs programs with organization-wide impact (or may have impact beyond the University) that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources. Significant barriers to entry exist at this level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEleven (11) years of related experience, education/training in government reporting, lead audit response, 3rd party reimbursement consulting also considered; OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus seven (7) years of related experience/training in government reporting, lead audit response, 3rd party reimbursement consulting.
Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills to identify improvements.
Experience in Data Analytics healthcare.
Hospital Cost Reporting, Cost Report Auditing, and modeling outcomes from State and Federal Reimbursement.
Master's Degree or MBA in accounting, finance or related field.
CPA.
Oracle general ledgers and Epic Medical Statistical Systems experience.
Cost report and workpaper software products.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $104,900 - $198,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $50.24 - $95.26
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
