Research Assistant
Job Description
Intensive research and scholarly work on a newly funded Pancreatic cancer research initiative. The Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology Department has an opening for a Research Assistant.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preclinical research and development under the review of a principal investigator for the technology development and implementation for the preclinical cancer research.
- Coordinate with technical and administrative resources in the experimental cores and other collaborative labs for the conduction of the research projects.
- Assist with the writing and editing of manuscripts.
- Present research projects at meetings and conferences.
- Perform data collection and/or statistical analysis for various research projects.
- Assist with tasks on other research projects as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/03/CD
Starting Salary Range: $17.20 - $30.30 HRLY ($45,000 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
Employee group: Full Time
Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
