KPMG is currently seeking a Associate Director, Enterprise Resilience to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced knowledge of enterprise resilience to execute and ensure compliance of the Business Continuity and Incident Management Cycles: Analysis, Planning, Documentation, Approval, Implementation, Maintenance, Exercise, and Training to ensure the firm's ability to withstand and recover from disruptive events
- Participate in development of policies, procedures, and plans that support the firm's enterprise resilience objectives and align with industry standards and leading practices
- Lead or be a primary contributor on multiple key projects, programs and initiatives, making independent decisions related to required tasks; drive continuous process improvement activities by identifying problems and offering solutions
- Manage enterprise resilience tools and technologies, proposing and executing enterprise resilience program goals and key indicators that support continuous program improvement
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective integration of enterprise resilience into business processes and decision-making
- Provide active coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing with junior staff to advance their career development; manage and review those team members' work product; contribute to planning for short term needs, like projects and processes and may construct annual plan for deployment of those resources; may have people management responsibility for a small to mid-sized team of entry level through intermediate level professionals
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent professional experience and demonstrated competency in enterprise resilience planning and execution in a geographically diverse, large professional services environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Experience in business continuity, incident/crisis management, and IT Disaster Recovery standards and practices; ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities
- Experience in program/project management, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; and foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization
