The Senior Project Manager (Healthcare) provides the overall planning, coordination and direction for project management and construction management activities on heathcare projects to ensure they are on time, on budget, and on schedule, and also monitors cost and project performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Maintains management and project facilitation for the successful completion per compliance, contractual, owner and Vanir requirements. May supervise field administrative staff, Project Engineers,Assistant Project Managers and Construction Managers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assumes the lead in project meetings, and supervises work of others to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses, and follow-up on actions items of all participants.
- Primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables
- Develops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project
- Ensures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements
- Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities
- Represents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings
- Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeout
- Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
- Coordinates, directs, and monitors activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities
- Ensures project team adheres to safety requirements
- Manages bid phase services, as may be required by the client
- Performs other duties as required
Pre-construction, Construction to final occupancy and close-out.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in technical disciplines such as Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent technical area of study
- 12+ years of experience in management of HCAi/OSHPD healthcare projects, construction, engineering, and equivalent technical projects.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $145,000-$155,000.
