Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Manages all student records, registration and graduation services for students, faculty and staff at the college. Maintains, incorporates and seeks new features of the Colleague academic records and registration system modules.
Maintains, edits and develops reports with campus reporting solutions and in partnership with college IT and research staff. Works closely with all student services and enrollment services offices to offer necessary and
innovative services to the campus community.
Manages set up and procedural components of all Colleague Academic Records and Registration modules.
Processes add/drops, withdrawals, grade rosters, grade changes, course substitutions, academic standing, address changes and non-payment purges.
Responsible for the review of transfer credit and the maintenance of student records ensuring accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of information.
Coordinates all aspects of graduation including graduation audits to ensure all requirements have been met, scheduled commencement exercises, gives final approval for degree conferral, updating of student records status and ordering and mailing diplomas.
Manages and ensures security and archival of all student records as regulated by college, local, state and federal regulations.
Supervises and assists with processing of admissions applications for prospective, applicants and accepted students
Provides documentation and maintains standards required by external regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Develop and manage college residency services and guidelines in conjunction with state and federal laws.
Reviews, develops policies and procedures and manages departmental budgets.
Directs the daily operation of the Registrar's Office; supervise Registrar Office staff; serve as an internal consultant and implement academic policies.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree; or bachelor's degree + 2 yrs experience in student services programs preferred. Work at a two year technical or community college is preferred.
Knowledge of policies and procedures related to student records, registration and graduation is preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups, work under pressure and handle a variety of difficult situations, exercise sound judgment, and practice discretion. Must possess the ability to maintain and secure confidential student records.
Maintain productive working relationships with faculty, staff, co-workers, students, administrators, colleagues and the general public. Must be highly proficient with technological office procedures and motivated to learn new technology, management of a variety of computer applications and administrative policies.
Must be able to work independently and supervise direct reports. Must be able to plan, organize and perform all duties as assigned. Works as an integral member of the student services and enrollment management teams and exercise initiative in development of new services to enhance services to faculty, staff and students at the college.
