TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a 5-year, federally grant-funded program from which funds are allocated for this position. The TRIO SSS Advisor will work extensively with a caseload of students and will serve as a student advocate by providing continuous outreach, assessments, and guidance for TRIO SSS participants to meet the goals in their Personalized Success Plans (PSP). The TRIO SSS Advisor will help facilitate the programming explicitly developed to serve SSS eligible students.
Note: TRIO SSS program 5-year grant cycle will end August 31st 2025. A new proposal will be issued requesting a new 5-year program. Operation plans are subject to change with a new grant.

Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, education, or related field, and two (2) years of related human resources and/or human services experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Experience working with first generation college students or underrepresented student populations.
