Overview:
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Sr. Human Resources Analyst serves as a regulatory specialist and manages inquiries on a variety of HR compliance topics by gathering additional details on the questions/issues and conducting relevant research. The Sr. Human Resources Analyst assists in managing the ongoing progression and maintenance of CHLA’s enterprise wide HR compliance program efforts, including, but not limited to, compliance with wage and hour state, federal and local labor laws; policy and procedure development; training and education initiatives; and compliance programmatic developments and enhancements and monitoring. Assists with HR initiatives and programs in a confidential capacity to formulate, determine and effectuate management policies.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Four (4) or more years working in HR operations as an analyst, specialist or other HR compliance related experience in healthcare at a senior level. Knowledge of California wage and hour laws desirable. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel software highly desirable. Experience in the hospital environment preferred. Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, lead initiatives and manage several projects at one time. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's degree in a related field or suitable combination of education and equivalent experience and training.

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. It’s Work That Matters.
Timeframe of position: Durational Assignment for 15-18 months with no gaurantee for a permanent position.
Although this position is 100% remote, applicants will need to have a primary resident in California prior to start date.
