Job Description
The College of Business at the University of New England invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, open rank faculty position with a specialization in marketing to begin in August 2024. Newly established in 2023, the ACBSP-accredited College of Business is diverse and growing with over 200 undergraduate students majoring in Business Administration (with six specialized concentrations and four minors), Sport and Recreation Management, Marine Entrepreneurship, Sustainability & Business, and Outdoor Business & Innovation. The candidate will directly support our Business Administration major and aid in the development of new courses and programs, including programs related to marketing and business.

Responsibilities
The College seeks candidates who can teach lower and upper division courses in marketing and related disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates with program leadership experience, as well as those who have research and teaching interests that align with the university’s strengths in sustainability, the environment, and healthcare. The candidate is expected to develop an active, independent, research program that results in peer-reviewed publications. The candidate will also participate in curricular assessment at all levels, including developing new courses; academic advising; recruiting; and service to the college and university, and other duties as assigned. The typical teaching load for this position is 3-3.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Marketing or another relevant field is required. Applied industry marketing experience along with course delivery, and course development experience is preferred. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and have a record of scholarly activity or a coherent scholarly plan.
